Coated Bouzouki Strings
Trad Master Coated Bouzouki Strings are specifically designed for Trad Bouzouki Players. These strings deliver longer life, quality performance and musical tone.
Using a special coating, the wound strings are able to block sweat and grime from corroding the string surface which prevents wear and tear, resulting in much longer tone life. The plain strings in this set are also treated for longer life.
Trad Master Coated Bouzouki Strings are designed for Irish GDAE & similar Tunings and are currently only available with Ball-Ends.
Trad Master Strings are individually hand packed by us at the time of your order and labelled and dated, making them the freshest strings available and contained in an eco biodegradable package with zero plastic!

A great ordering process from beginning to end with plenty of options available for the bouzouki. Came in great packaging with some stickers, picks, a handwritten personal thank you note, a discount code for next time and some other offers and leaflets.
These strings are great quality and the coating is smooth and slick, no GHS fast fret needed! I made the mistake of putting some on as I’m used to using it with other coated strings and it was too slick for my liking but YMMV so really no need for any string lubricant at all.
My bouzouki’s tailpiece doesn’t take ball-end strings so I had to remove the ball-ends from these strings but it’s very much worth it to use them.
They’re a little expensive but not prohibitively so, they worked out cheaper than individual strings and from what I could find they’re one of the only coated bouzouki string sets available. Coated strings are a necessity for me and I know they’ll last me a long time so I’ll be back when I need a new set.
Being a fan of the bright tones and longevity offered my coated strings, I tried these Trad Master ones last year. Having previously used coated strings by some well known brands, I was pleasantly surprised at how well Trad Master strings performed. They are now my "go to" bouzouki strings. Best on the market in my opinion
