A great service - very personal, very helpful and the strings are great too. Thanks for sending me the others too - good service all round. These strings are for an old octave mandolin I have on which I keep the lower strings tuned up to A. These strings are nice and mellow.
Fitted these to a vintage custom made Mandola which needed a slightly lighter gauge string set to help reduce the stress on the body/neck/head. These were a perfect fit for the instrument and allowed for ease of playing with no lack of punch to the sound. Crisp highs and warm mids and lows. Will use these again for sure.
